This mechanical rectal probe allows the Duo-scan 3 to display a 170 degree sector image from a small contact area, something that no other scanner in the world can do for bovine pregnancy determination. This is very important since the wider angle of view allows you to see a larger area without moving the probe, accelerating the scanning process.

The unique shape of the rectal probe allows scanning without introducing your hand and arm into the animal, reducing the physical effort required. The slim head size allows for a smooth insertion, further reducing the strain on your elbow and arm.

Its integrated reed switch allows you to easily switch the scanner preset modes when used with a magnet, usually fitted to the carry bag strap.

Made from aluminium, it is very robust.
